We're expanding our engineering team to build the agentic data lakehouse – finding trustworthy answers to hard questions from messy enterprise data without configuring schemas, moving data, or lengthy implementation roadmaps.
Software Engineering Intern
Want your internship code running in front of Fortune 500 customers instead of in a sandbox nobody looks at?
You'll work as a full member of the technical staff, not an intern track: real features on the same stack as everyone else — agents, the ontology, Data Apps, the infrastructure underneath them — with an engineer beside you and no busywork between you and production.
What Success Looks Like
- Within 2 weeks, you'll have shipped code that customers touch
- By the end of the internship, you'll own a feature end-to-end and demo it to the whole company
- The bar we hire against: interns we'd extend a full-time Member of Technical Staff offer to
About You
- Strong programmer in at least one of: TypeScript, Python, Haskell, or a systems language — the stack is learnable, the instincts aren't
- You've built something real outside coursework — a project people use, an open-source contribution, a startup that didn't work
- Comfortable with ambiguity: you ask the question, then go find the answer in the code
- Currently pursuing (or recently finished) a degree in CS or adjacent — or a story that beats one
Compensation & Logistics
- Compensation: $55/hour
- Terms: Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 — some terms have limited seats and close as they fill, so apply for the earliest you can start
- Interview: We can make a decision within 72 hours of your on-site. If you're outside NYC, we'll cover all travel expenses.
- Onsite: We are 5 days a week in-office in FiDI, NYC
