Oracle is where decades of enterprise data lives: ERP transactions, finance records, supply chain state, HCM. The schema reflects that history: hundreds of tables, inherited naming conventions, access controls that exist for good reason.
Getting a business question answered has historically meant one of two things: a DBA writes the query, or a weeks-long BI project. Finance teams reconcile four systems manually. Analysts wait days. The data is there. Access to it isn't.
Today we're announcing two Oracle connectors that change that: Oracle Database for native SQL access to your relational data, and Oracle Fusion for REST API access to your ERP, HCM, and SCM data.
What's Connected
Oracle Database. Ana connects directly to your Oracle instance and translates plain English into PL/SQL, handling Oracle's dialect natively. Works across Oracle 12c and later, Autonomous Database (ADW), and OCI deployments.
Oracle Fusion. Ana connects to Oracle Fusion (Cloud ERP, HCM, SCM) via REST API. Ask about headcount, purchase orders, or revenue recognition in plain English and Ana handles the query.
How It Works
Connect from the Connectors page: host, port, and service name for Database; API credentials for Fusion. Credentials are stored in a vault and injected at the network boundary. Schema is auto-discovered on connection. No manual mapping, no additional setup before you can query.
Ana can also join Oracle data with your other connected sources (Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau) in a single question. If the answer lives across systems, you ask it in one place.
Getting Started
Navigate to the Connectors page in TextQL, select Oracle Database or Oracle Fusion, and fill in your credentials: host, port, and service name for Database; API credentials for Fusion. Ana discovers your schema automatically.
For Oracle Fusion, an admin will need to whitelist the Fusion pod domain in the TextQL admin console before querying. For full setup details, see the connector overview or technical docs.
Both connectors are available on every TextQL tier with no per-connector fees. Find them on the Connectors page.
