Claude Sonnet 5, Anthropic's most capable Sonnet model, launched today and is now available in Ana.

Sonnet 5 is built for agentic work: it plans across multiple steps, uses tools reliably, and completes tasks that earlier models abandoned mid-process. It approaches Opus 4.8 on knowledge work at a lower price point.

In our early testing, we're seeing sharper multi-step analysis, more reliable tool use across complex queries, and lower hallucination rates compared to Sonnet 4.6. For teams running Ana at scale, the cost reduction relative to Opus 4.8 is meaningful.

Try it now by opening a new thread and selecting Sonnet 5 from the model picker.

Enabling Access

Sonnet 5 is available to all Ana users. To enable it for your organization, go to Settings > Models and toggle Enabled next to Claude Sonnet 5.
