API key and secret are encrypted at rest in TextQL's credential vault and injected by our egress proxy at the network layer. Ana's Python sandbox never sees the raw values. Credentials can be rotated from the TextQL admin console at any time.

Only the project the API key and secret are issued for. Admins can create multiple connector configs for multiple projects and assign them to different TextQL user groups for clean audit separation and granular access control.

Are Amplitude rate limits respected?

Yes. The connector handles rate limiting automatically with exponential backoff. For high-volume analyses consider Amplitude's higher rate limit plans or use the Export API, which has separate quotas from the dashboard API endpoints.
