The main HubSpot connector grants broad scopes covering Sales, Marketing, and Service Hub data. The Sales Hub-specific connector uses a narrower OAuth scope set focused on deals, pipelines, contacts, and sales activities — ideal if you want to limit Ana's access to sales data only.

Can Ana update deals or log activities?

By default the connector is read-only. Admins can grant write scopes during OAuth setup if you want Ana to update deal stages, log activities, create tasks, or add notes. Most teams start read-only and expand write access deliberately.

Does this include forecast data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ana can read HubSpot Sales Hub forecasts, including rep-level forecasts, deal predictions, and pipeline weighted values. Forecast snapshots over time can be joined with warehouse outcome data to measure forecast accuracy.

Custom deal properties?

Absolutely. Ana queries every standard and custom property on deals, contacts, and companies. Custom property names and values are exposed automatically — no manual schema configuration needed.

How are tokens secured?

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest in TextQL's credential vault. When Ana makes a HubSpot API request, tokens are injected at the network boundary by our egress proxy. Ana's Python sandbox never sees raw credentials.
